Shooting PD for BBC international current affairs strand Our World from 2013 -18 (as both BBC staff and then freelance) on films including: Banished for Bleeding (on menstrual taboos in remote Nepal), The Mountain That Eats Men (on child labour in Bolivia), Dropping the knife: Kurdistan (on FGM in Iraq) The Symphony for Syria (on Blur front man Damon Albarn's efforts to reunite Syrian musicians scattered by war) and The War Widows of Afghanistan (on the fallout of the Afghan war), for which we gained unprecedented access to the lives of Afghan widows, and filmed observationally in Kabul & Mazar-e-Sharif.
